Lauren-Marie hails from Hanover, Pennsylvania and started her dance career at a later age than most, 16. She was a gymnast growing up as well as a 3-sport (field hockey, basketball, track) athlete up until college. While studying Communications and History, she was a 4 year NCAA field hockey player for Lebanon Valley College in Pennsylvania.
Upon graduating in May 2011 with a BA in Historical Communications she moved to NYC to establish a career and broaden her dance experience and knowledge. Lauren has been dancing ballroom for 6 years as well some recent experience in Broadway, hip-hop and jazz funk. She has competed in all styles of International and American ballroom but specializes in American styles, specifically rhythm as well as salsa and west coast swing.
She has instructed American Rhythm and salsa while at college as well as choreographed for showcases and musical theater pieces.
Dance has become quite the passion for Lauren and she feels confident and excited to pass her love of dance on to others.
